  • PRODUCT INFORMATION

Athletic Wicking Fabric: This product is made out of athletic fabric wicking fabric, which gives it the ability to move moisture away from the body and the fabric itself. This can help keep the body dry and cool even when you sweat. It works by utilizing a thing called capillary action. This means that the fabric is made up of tiny little tubes, that move the moisture away from your skin and release it into your outer layers of clothing or the air. It works like the wick of a candle, drawing the wax up the wick to the flame to be burned.

If you are wearing a wicking fabric and you start to sweat, you create an environment of high humidity between your skin and your clothing. Sweat moisture begins to gather on the underside of the fabric. This high humidity, or wet air, close to the skin will then try to move towards a lower humidity environment where the air is dryer. Wicking fabric helps all this to happen as the fabric make-up encourages the moisture to move along the fabric, to the outside where it can spread out and evaporate in the lower humidity.

It's worth noting that these leggings are an exellent base layer, because they not only remove moisture to keep you dry but can also act as a very good insulator in cold weather to keep you warm.

Wicking fabric is used in all manner of outdoor activities from running, and hiking to water activities and is used across all seasons and all temperatures.

Water Activities: This garment is an excellent choice for water activities, the sunscreen will protect you from getting burned and the wicking factor allows it to dry fast making it an excellent choice for stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, diving, and swimming.
